In Balance” is an international youth exchange project financed through the Erasmus+ Programme of the EU.

It was developed in the frames of a partnership of 7 organizations from EU countries: Romania, Croatia, Lithuania, Greece, Bulgaria, Italy and Spain, having the common goals of offering young people new opportunities for learning, developing and improving the quality of their lives, of contributing to the inclusion of young people from vulnerable categories and increasing social cohesion, of bringing positive impact in the communities in which we operate.

The purpose of the “In Balance” project is to educate young people on healthy lifestyle, having a complex approach to the topic, so that they increase their level of satisfaction and quality of personal lives.

Through “In Balance” we aim to achieve the following objectives:

– To educate young people on healthy lifestyle, emphasizing the importance of balance, by creating and promoting motivational videos.

– To raise awareness among young people about the impact of their way of life on the quality of life and to stimulate social cooperation and involvement, creating and distributing the photo collages “For a healthy life”.

– To encourage young people to adopt healthy habits and to practice physical activities, through the youth exchange and subsequent informational, educational and sport events.

The learning process will be based on non-formal education, involving such methods as: team building games, educational games, interactive presentation methods, analysis and self-evaluation methods, brainstorming, mental maps, graphic visualization, live library, group discussions, debate, open space, Frisco method, public speaking, hiking, labyrinth-theater, educational theater, drama, role-playing, teamwork, photo voice.

As a result of the project, young people will become more aware of their way of life, of the personal and social impact of their way of life, adopting and perpetuating healthy and balanced habits, thus, in the long run, bringing positive changes in the society.
